Ballet

FEMALES

*Ages 6+
Any color ballet leotard.

*All female students are required to wear flesh toned tights, ballet slippers, and/or pointe shoes to match as close to the student’s natural skin tone as possible. This will prevent a break in the visual “line”, from the top of their head to the tip of their toes.

*Hair in a neat, secure bun (please avoid fly-aways) . The bun should be a the crown of the head and not forward to the hairline.

 
MALES

Black shorts above the knee
White t-shirt or tank (plain, fitted)
Black ballet shoes

Jazz / Lyrical / Contemporary / Stretch

*Dance shorts or leggings
*Sports bra, tank top or leotard (must be form fitting)
*Jazz shoes close to student’s natural skin tone as possible. (no laces)
*Hair in a neat, secure bun or ponytail with no flyaways.

Hip Hop / Breaking / Pop Dance

*Loose fitting clothing to allow for movement and comfort.
*Sweatpants/leggings/shorts
*Any top (sports bra/tank top/t-shirt)
*Tennis shoes
*(no school uniforms, skirts)

Tap

*Leggings/shorts
*Any top (sports bra/tank top/t-shirt)
*Black lace up tap shoes
      Preferred:
      Bloch "Respect" lace up tap shoe in black (S0361L) - available only in kids size 1 and up
      For smaller feet: Bloch child lace up tap shoe in black (S0301G)

Ballet/Tap or Ballet/Jazz Combo Class

*Baby Pink Leotard - preferrably with no skirt/tutu
*Flesh toned tights that match as close to the student’s natural skin tone as possible.
*Hair in a neat bun (please avoid fly-aways)
*Ballet shoes that matches as close to the student’s natural skin tone as possible.
*Tan jazz shoes for ballet/jazz combo
OR
*Black Tap Shoes for ballet/tap combo

Fitness Classes

*Comfortable fitness clothes - tshirt, tank top, shorts, leggings, sweats
*Athletic Tennis Shoes
