Maker Empire Youth Company Dancer Agreement

(October 2023 - June 2024)

CONGRATULATIONS! You have been accepted on the Maker Empire Youth Dance Company!

MISSION STATEMENT:
We are an elite group of individuals who strive to inspire by committing to our craft as a lifestyle on and off stage/camera through our artistry, professionalism, unique and versatile movement, and ground-breaking aesthetic.


Commitment/Attendance/Code of Conduct: 
Each Dancer must be responsible for his/her/their commitment to the company.  Dancers must be willing to work hard, practice daily and must have a forward-thinking mindset during rehearsal.  Poor conduct by any Dancer will lead to dismissal from rehearsal and/or dismissal from the company.  Poor behavior, attendance, effort, or level of performance could lead to being dropped from the company.  If this should happen, no financial compensation will be given for any cost of costumes, lessons, competition fees, etc. Absences must be informed in a timely manner. The earlier the better, anything last minute will not be tolerated. All Dancers must email their absence to FRONTDESK@ELEMENTSDANCESPACE.COM a minimum of 24 hours notice. Any day of regrets must be CALLED into the studio. 626-817-9988

Positive parent involvement is mandatory and necessary in developing the youth companies. This involvement does not include gossip and negativity.  

Rehearsals:
All Dancers representing Maker Empire and Elements Dance Space must attend Saturday rehearsals.

AMMP : 1pm - 4pm Saturdays
Maker Empire Jrs : 1pm - 4pm Saturdays
Trouble Makers : 2pm - 5pm Saturdays

Additional rehearsals will be added when necessary. See rehearsal schedule in Google Parent Folder.

All company members may drop into any Elements class at the company rate of $10 per class.

All rehearsals are private and closed. Parents, family, and friends must wait outside of the studio in the lobby during rehearsal time. We will schedule special viewing days for you to see the progress of the dancers.

Communication:
Communication between the Directors, Dancers, and Parents is crucial to ensuring that we have a successful season ahead. Miss Tu will be in contact with Directors, Dancers, and Parents primarily through EMAIL. Please double check your emails before asking questions. Group chats will be on DISCORD are developed for important updates for both companies. We will send an invite link later on this season once we get closer to performances/events for day of communication.

Rehearsal Tuition:
Tuition is due via AUTOPAY on the 1st day of the month for the current month  Tuition remains the same regardless of any Saturday cancellations. We do not charge for any additional rehearsals that may arise before performances/competitions. 

Fall season registration fee $25 (one time fee) - due 10/14
Choreography fee $200 (one time fee) - due 10/14
$100 monthly tuition - due on the first day of every month for that month

Costume/Makeup:
TBA. Costume will be dependent on the look. May range from $20-$150. We will NOT collect for this at this time. Dancers will be responsible for getting their own costumes, but it must be approved by the Director.

Other Fees:
Team apparel, competition / performance fees, etc. Due dates TBD.
